TopCashback vs Quidco vs Complete Savings UK: Which Cashback Site Is Best in 2026?

If you're trying to save money online, cashback websites can be one of the easiest ways to reduce your shopping costs.

I've personally used all three major cashback platforms in the UK:

Between them, I've earned hundreds of pounds in cashback over the years, including more than £2,040 from Complete Savings alone.

But which cashback website is actually the best in 2026?

Here's my honest comparison.

What Are Cashback Websites?

Cashback websites earn commission when you click through to a retailer and make a purchase.

Instead of keeping all the commission themselves, they share part of it with you as cashback.

You can earn cashback on:

  • Online shopping
  • Mobile phone contracts
  • Insurance
  • Broadband
  • Hotels
  • Travel bookings
  • Utility switching
  • Gifts and vouchers.

Why Use Cashback Sites?

There is very little downside to using cashback websites.

If you're already planning to buy something, why not receive some money back?

The cashback may only be a few pounds initially, but over time it can add up significantly.

My Favourite Cashback Sites in the UK

1. TopCashback

I consider TopCashback to be the best free cashback website in the UK. I have been using it since 2011 and so far I have earned £2563.86

Pros

✅ No annual fee
✅ Often offers the highest cashback rates
✅ Thousands of retailers
✅ Regular cashback bonuses
✅ Easy payout options.

Cons

❌ Customer service can sometimes be slow.

TopCashback Plus costs £5 per year but can provide higher cashback rates and additional benefits.

2. Quidco

Quidco is another excellent cashback website and one I've used extensively. I joined in Quidco in 2010, since than I earned £1105.53

Pros

✅ Reliable tracking
✅ Easy to use
✅ Strong customer service
✅ Good retailer selection.

Cons

❌ Cashback rates are often slightly lower than TopCashback.

Premium members occasionally receive higher rates.

3. Complete Savings

Complete Savings is different because it is a paid membership programme. There is a £18 membership fee per month for this website which I have explained in my previous article 'Is It Worth the £18 Fee?'

Pros

✅ Very high cashback rates
✅ Up to 10% cashback at eBay and Argos
✅ Up to 20% cashback on some Argos gift purchases
✅ Excellent customer service.

Cons

❌ £18 monthly membership fee.

However, if you make a qualifying purchase each month, you can normally claim your £18 membership fee back.

I've been using Complete Savings for around five years and have earned more than £2,040 in cashback. To read my full review check this article : Complete Savings Cashback Review UK – How I Earned £2,040 and Why I Still Use It After 5 Years

Cashback Rates Comparison

Retailer TopCashback Quidco Complete Savings
eBay 0%-3% 0%-3% Up to 10%
Argos 1%-4% 1%-4% Up to 10%
Argos Gifts Rare Rare Up to 20%

Rates change frequently, so always check before purchasing.

How to Make Sure Cashback Tracks Properly

I follow these simple rules:

  • Log into your cashback account first.
  • Accept cookies.
  • Disable ad blockers.
  • Avoid opening multiple cashback sites at once.
  • Complete the purchase in one session.
  • Keep your confirmation email.

If cashback doesn't track, you can normally submit a missing cashback claim.

Is Cashback Guaranteed?

No.

Even the best cashback websites clearly state that cashback is not guaranteed.

Occasionally:

  • retailers reject claims;
  • tracking fails;
  • transactions become ineligible.

Fortunately, these situations are relatively rare.

Which Cashback Site Is Best?

Best free cashback site:

🏆 TopCashback

Best for reliability:

🏆 Quidco

Best for heavy online shoppers:

🏆 Complete Savings

My Personal Recommendation

I actually use all three.

  • I check TopCashback first.
  • Then Quidco.
  • Finally Complete Savings.

The difference in cashback rates can sometimes be significant, especially for larger purchases.

Final Verdict

If you're new to cashback websites, I recommend starting with TopCashback and Quidco because they are completely free.

If you shop online regularly and understand how the membership works, Complete Savings can offer some of the highest cashback rates available in the UK, however it is recommended to compare regularly the cashback websites like TopCashback vs Quidco vs Complete Savings UK.

Over the years, cashback websites have saved me hundreds of pounds, and I now check cashback rates before almost every online purchase.
